The Department of Innovative Strategy and Business Administration (tentative) will be the new department under the Business School at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Shenzhen, China. It is seeking applicants for faculty position at assistant and associate professor levels beginning in Februrary 2023 or at your earliest convenience thereafter. We warmly welcome applications from both fresh Ph.D. graduates and experienced assistant/associate professors who are engaged in high-quality scholarship in different business and management areas such as business policy and strategic management, China business, corporate social responsibility, entrepreneurship, human resource management, innovation management, international business and management, organizational behaviour, and strategic leadership.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess or be close to completing a Ph.D. in management or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Candidates should be strongly committed to excellence in scholarly research, teaching and service. Applications from fresh Ph.D. graduates (or those nearly completing their Ph.D. studies) should demonstrate promise of becoming an outstanding scholar in his/her research areas. Applications from the experienced assistant professor level should possess a publication record commensurate with the years of experience. Applications from the experienced associate professor level should have a record of being an outstanding scholar in every respect.

Responsibilities include publishing high-quality scholarly research, teaching business and management-related courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels, supervision of graduate and doctoral students, and participation in academic and professional activities.
